If you’re anything like me, a new year means Pantone releases their color of the year. I have no idea why, but this has always been something I look forward to. My mom used to love finding out which color would be “in” each year and I guess it’s something I’ve picked up from her. Regardless, I’ve shared with you some of my favorite pieces in 2018’s color of the year, Ultra Violet. Continue reading “Ultra Violet- 2018 Pantone Color of the Year”
Hey y’all! I hope everyone’s semester is off to a great start! I’ve got lots of big things planned for the next few months for the blog but I have to make sure I’m able to manage my time with classes. I have a fairly hard semester coming up but I’m sure with lots of planning and some great time management skills I’ll be able to handle it!
Now that december is finally over, and we’re (mostly) through all the new year’s stuff, I wanted to give y’all a little update about what’s been going on in my life in the past month! December was definitely a crazy month. From finals, to the holidays, to New Year’s Eve, my schedule was so full but I had lots of fun. Continue reading “December Recap & Chit Chat”
I hope everyone is having a good holiday and spending lots of time with loved ones. I had such a good time visiting downtown Detroit and I’m so excited to be sharing some photos with you.
Winter is one of my favorite fashion seasons. Using pops of color to brighten up the dreary landscape makes the cold days a little less bitter. I had the opportunity to go out and shoot with Megan from My Sprinkle of Prep and I had an incredible time. She’s such a talented photographer so be sure to check out her blog! It was freezing cold (I’m talking 10°F) but we still had lots of fun and got some great shots!
Hey everyone! I hope everyone has had a good holiday and was able to spend time with loved ones. Now that we’ve all finished our festivities and we’re getting down to business with our goals for the new year, I wanted to share with you some of the things I’ll be working towards during 2018. I love setting goals because it motivates me to use my time purposefully and allows me to become more disciplined. The new year is a great time to spend time reflecting on what we want to achieve during the next 12 months and start fresh at the beginning of the year. I’ll (hopefully) be documenting some of my successes and failures with these goals on Elle S’appelle Sarah so y’all can follow along and hold me accountable.
Ah yes, the dreaded end of Christmas vacation. This means back to school and back to real life. For some of you, this may be a period of excitement and motivation, but for others, this could mean stress and nerves are building up. The past semester may have gone really well for some of us, and others might be looking for ways to better themselves. This could mean raising their grades, having better time management, or even allowing more personal time for relaxing and unwinding. I’ve put together my best tips to help you achieve some of your goals this semester!
